The T20 World Cup or the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is the international competition of Twenty20 cricket. Typically the tournament was expected to be hosted every two years, however the next tournament has expected to take in place in 2020 in Australia – 4 years after India in 2016.
Due to delays as a result of Covid-19 and the Global Pandemic, the tournament will be postponed by one year and then hosted once again by India. Australia will now host the 2022 edition instead.
